ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Initiate plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of labor, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
2. Attain business objectives and manage production schedules while ensuring that products meet our customers’ specifications and high quality standards.
3. Design and implement manufacturing strategies and action plans so the production facilities support Sun Orchard’s strategic objectives.
4. Motivate, lead and manage a passionate and diverse personnel group that operates based on a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
6. Seek out and encourage use of new techniques and more efficient operating practices using fact-based problem solving.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in business, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in a juice/dairy/beverage processing and manufacturing facility
- 5+ years of managerial and leadership experience
- Use of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Inventory and Manufacturing
- General Email and Internet research capabilities
- Flexible Schedule - be available for extended shifts if needed

SUPPORT:
- Position is responsible for supervising employees in the plant.
- Position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of juice extraction, blending, bottling, maintenance, production planning, shipping and receiving and technical services units.
- Position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
1. Initiate plans and processes that minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of labor, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.

11. Seek out and identify ways to make manufacturing operations more sustainable, in support of Sun Orchard’s commitment to providing “Healthy Products from a Healthy Company”.
12. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Physical Requirements & Environment:
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment. There may be exposure to noise, work near moving
mechanical parts and forklifts, citrus fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. The employee may
be required to stand, walk and sit for long periods at a time, wear the proper protective equipment as required, climb a
ladder or stairs, hear and communicate readily, use both hands and arms. Use of telephone, cell phones, a computer,
copier, and other office equipment will be required. Travel including automobile or airplane may also be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Identifies, and coordinates the development and implementation of improvements to critical processes and systems.
- Assists with the development and communication of a methods that lead to continuous improvement activities throughout manufacturing by focusing on the needs of the customer, empowering associates, and optimizing existing activities in the process.
- Develops the measures and controls required to assess current capabilities and help improve capabilities as required.
- Optimizes plant and equipment capacity utilization and develops a long-term capacity plan, including workforce planning.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
- Lean Leader Training preferred
- Experience in a food and beverage industry preferred.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated track records in quality and operational improvements, ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to travel 50-75%.

Hi, I am recruiting for a $4 billion manufacturer of food ingredients. They need a BS/MS Project Engineer with 5+ years of Project Management experience to support the purchase, installation, operation, maintenance, and improvements to the process equipment. Comp is +/- $125K, location is Maryland.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing
• Experience scoping and managing multiple capital projects from the evaluation through implementation stages
• Mechanical and controls experience with packaging and/or processing equipment
• Experience with sifting, cleaning, sterilization, milling, and packaging equipment
• Knowledge and experience with plant operations, CAD systems and shop floor integration
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Manage all aspects and resources of multiple capital projects from inception through completion
• Develop detailed objectives and standards to meet all project deadlines & deliverables, and ensuring that all budgetary guidelines are met

Description and Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Commercial Finance Manager for Beverage and is located at the Americas Headquarters in Southern WI. This role focuses on business leader support, financial management and margin optimization through analysis of the various measures/dimensions/strategies. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills, enjoy challenging face to face meetings with the ability to build trust, confidence and relationships.

Responsibilities
• Key resource to business unit general manager/leader in development of business strategies including marketing, selling, and profitability improvement.
• Forecasting, Budgeting and Monthly Reporting responsibility for business along with communication to the business team.
• Support executive and leadership meeting agendas including presentation material, analyses and support.
• Understand market trends, dynamics, price/volume trends and outlooks in order to recommend actions that lead to profitable growth.
• Support sales/marketing with analysis aimed at customer retention, pricing, business at risk, new business and business lost impacts
• Manage new business pipeline reporting and assess impact of new opportunities on the business portfolio.
• Development of pricing strategies and management of price increase process
• Assess key commodity markets risk and the impact on pricing.
• Determine, validate and communicate quotes, credits and pricing to business teams
• Evaluate customer incentive plans (rebates and trade promotions) both in advance of offering and subsequent to the implementation.
• Lead cross functional teams to ensure margin optimization through proper management of deductions, price variances, and successful resolution of claims.
• On-going margin analysis, root cause categorization, opportunity identification and implementation of corrective actions to optimize margin and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish KPI targets and to provide variance analysis.
• Support and lead cost reduction teams aimed at reducing cost of raw materials, packaging or plant costs.
• Work with plants to ensure proper margin reporting as well as corrective actions to enhance margin (cost, inventory, productivity, allocation).
• Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver value (price and cost)
• Support activity for the broader beverage group in order to gain understanding and knowledge of other businesses in the portfolio
